“Do not be frightened… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Life can sometimes feel like a lonely road. Whether it’s facing uncertainty, going through a personal struggle, or just the quiet weight of everyday burdens, we all experience moments where we wonder if anyone truly sees what we’re carrying.
But God does.
In Joshua 1:9, we find a powerful reminder of God’s unwavering presence. These words were spoken to Joshua as he prepared to lead the Israelites into a new and unknown land. It was a daunting task, filled with fear and risk. Yet, God didn’t promise that the path would be easy—He promised He would be there. “Do not be frightened,” God says, “for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
That promise is for you too.
No matter what you’re walking through right now, you are not walking through it alone. God is not distant. He’s near—in your fear, your questions, your quiet tears, and even your joy. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to remember that He’s with you, step by step.
Let His presence be your peace.
A Prayer for Today
Lord, thank You for reminding me that I am never alone. Even when I feel overwhelmed or uncertain, You are right there with me. Help me to trust in Your presence and lean into Your strength when mine runs low. Fill my heart with peace and courage to face whatever lies ahead. Thank You for being a faithful companion in every season of life. Amen.
