Isaiah 46:4 (ESV)
“Even to your old age I am He, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.”

Life is full of transitions. We experience seasons of strength and joy, as well as times of weakness and uncertainty. The world tells us that as we grow older, we must rely more on ourselves or fear becoming a burden to others. But God gives us a radically different assurance: “I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.”
This verse is a beautiful picture of God’s tender care for His people. He reminds us that from the very beginning—when He formed us in our mother’s womb—He has been carrying us. He does not abandon us in times of hardship, nor does He grow weary of sustaining us. The same hands that shaped us in our youth will uphold us in our old age. His faithfulness does not diminish with time.
Perhaps today, you feel burdened—by physical weakness, emotional exhaustion, or the weight of life’s trials. The good news is that you are not called to carry yourself. You were never meant to bear your burdens alone. The Lord Himself promises to carry you. And His strength is not like ours; He does not falter or grow tired.
This promise is not just for a season but for a lifetime and beyond. He who carries you now will carry you to the very end. When life feels overwhelming, rest in the strong arms of your faithful God. He is not only your Creator but also your Sustainer, and He will never let you go.
