Devotional:
Life can often feel overwhelming. Pressures mount, worries pile up, and burdens become heavy. In those moments, it’s easy to wonder if anyone truly sees or understands what we’re going through. But the truth is, God cares deeply for you—more than you can imagine.
The apostle Peter reminds us to cast all our anxieties on Him. Why? Because He cares. This is not a distant, indifferent God; this is the loving Father who knows your every struggle, tear, and unspoken prayer. He does not just tolerate your worries—He invites you to lay them at His feet.
Jesus confirmed this when He spoke of how God cares even for the sparrows (Matthew 10:29-31). If He watches over the birds of the air, how much more does He care for you, His beloved child?
No matter what you are facing today—uncertainty, stress, grief, or fear—you don’t have to carry it alone. Surrender your burdens to the Lord, and rest in the assurance that His love and care for you are unchanging.
